EUR/USD Price Analysis: Euro on track to end the week in the red near 1.0800 figure, bearish

  • EUR/USD is ending the week on the back foot on broad-based USD strength.
  • EUR/USD is seen sliding lower as the quote remains weak.

Euro/Dollar is trading in a bear trend below the main weekly SMAs on the weekly chart suggesting an overall bear trend. This week EUR/USD ended the week in the red near the 1.0800 figure.
 

EUR/USD four-hour chart

 
EUR/USD is trading below its main SMAs on the four-hour chart just above the 1.0800 figure as sellers stay in control. As the quote is weak, EUR/USD could continue sliding towards lower levels. Conversely, resistance can emerge near 1.0818, 1.0852 and 1.0879 levels.
